Team Work - Detailed

Paul Larson (plars)

Progress:

  • Filed and fixed bug #639930 on Abrek
  • Fixed bug #640251
  • Started looking at tests that Alexandros has in a branch for abrek, working on updating them and getting them merged
  • Merged gtkperf from Alexandros's tests
  • Reviewed and merged openposixtest from Deepti
  • More code reviews on launch-control
  • Started looking at patch tracking requirements
  • Tested the latest image and confirmed that bug #627779 still exists
  • Helped Matt get up and running with LTP on Abrek
  • Added a feature to abrek to default to show output while the test is being run, with an option to mute it
  • Worked up a list of test suites that have been added, and that we plan to add to abrek
    • Will work on prioritizing and assigning out this list over the next few days
  • Set up lucid on some loaner hardware with an SSD, ran some test image builds to see if we can save any time by using SSD

Issues:

  • None currently

Plans:

  • Prioritize and assignment of test suites
  • Continue getting Alexandros's tests integrated
  • Get changes done to abrek to make it capable of submitting bundles to the dashboard now that the dashboard side is complete

James Westby (james_w)

Progress:

  • Circulated the new process for comments from the team leads.
  • Discussion with Jamie of his requirements for improved project management tools.
  • Proposed a feature for the next LP cycle based on that.
  • Attended the release meeting on behalf of the team, and did plenty of followup from that.
  • Plenty of reviews.
  • Helping people with hardware packs.
  • Spent some time discussion UDD with others, trying to help it grow as a project.

Issues:

  • None right now.

Plans:

  • Request the first set of proposals for the new process and prepare for the first stakeholder meeting.
  • Implement creation of source hwpacks as that is important for release.

Zygmunt Krynicki (zyga)

Progress:

  • Asked for review and merged of numerous branches
  • Merged entire dev branch into trunk (and much more!)
  • Branched and released Launch Control 0.1 (after 486 commits)
  • Asked IS to deploy it at validation.linaro.org
  • Deployed private instance at http://suxx.pl/dashboard/

  • Obtained US visa for USD-N

Plans:

  • Organize dashboard call next Monday to determine features for 0.2
  • Develop and release dashboard every two weeks

Issues:

  • None

Michael Hudson (mwhudson)

Progress:

  • (arm-m-image-building-console)
    • "Email addresses for notifications need to be configurable": Branch in review (since last week).
    • "no-more-pvii": Hacked up some terrible JS to replace script of unclear license. Branch in review.
    • "Implement DB schema migration": Branch in review.
    • "Sources.list passwords:" Branch in review.
    • Observed that describe-licensing script was broken, fixed it. Branch in review.
    • "Make prefix of distribution channel descriptor a configurable option": Branch in review.
    • "Fix bug 429806 by setting build name earlier": Branch in review.
  • Not blueprinted:
    • Booked flights for platform rally in January.
    • Tried a bit harder to get a lexbuilder build done on the xM. Current builds are done on an imx51, and it's known (?) that they won't work on OMAP.
    • Set up my beagle xM as a local soyuz buildd, seemed to work nicely.

Plans:

  • (arm-m-image-building-console)
    • Awaiting reviews my branches.
    • "Fix deployment path. Currently deployed to /srv", "unify configs (config/lexbuilder.cfg, config/*.config, settings{,_devel,_production}.py) as far as reasonably possible": Talk to Cody on call. Implement whatever we decide.
    • "Contents of the notifications must be templated": Just do this.
  • Not blueprinted:
    • Continue to support Deepti.

Issues:

  • A large backlog of reviews required.
  • Confirmation of the new name for lexbuilder would be useful as I want to start looking for config in e.g. ~/.offspring.

Guilherme Salgado (salgado)

Progress:

  • HardwarePacks

    • integrate hwpack-install with linaro-media-create: DONE
  • Not blueprinted
    • some Launchpad UI reviews
    • changed summit.u.c to highlight linaro sessions
    • changed summit.u.c to have a separate view of the daily schedule which only shows linaro sessions

Plans:

  • HardwarePacks

    • refactor l-m-c to integrate better with hwpack-install, thus avoiding some steps that are done twice now
  • Not blueprinted
    • more Launchpad UI reviews
    • get summit.u.c changes through review

Issues:

Deepti Kalakeri (deepti)

Progress:

  • Completed the automation of installation, execution, and results parsing for the posix testsuite into abrek. Worked on the review comments by Paul and submitted the modified script.
  • Started looking into the gmpbench test suite

Issues:

  • None

Plans:

  • Work on completing the automation of installation, execution, and results parsing for the gmpbench test suite.
  • Work on the review comments on openposix automation if any.
