High-level summary (from tech lead)

  • Most of the team was at LDS - great discussions, well attended and discussed sessions, several decisions
  • Powerdebug tool forges ahead in terms of features now gaining the ability to manipulate the way the clock trees are shown
  • Samsung and ST-E platforms gained debug code to their clock trees so that powerdebug works on them
  • Efforts on to priortise work items based on LDS and begin work on these

    • Attending LDS
    • Cleaning up blueprints/work items/wiki to reflect what was agreed to at LDS
    • Leading PM WG sessions
  • Amit Arora
    • Rewrote clock tree support in PowerDebug to read the entire tree in the in-memory data structures

    • Updated code to use data in this in-memory datastructure to display clock tree in "dump" mode (-d option)
    • Removed hard coded path for debugfs mount point in PowerDebug, and now discovering it at runtime

    • Followed up with Auke (PowerTop maintainer) on a low priority patch (bug 644962)

    • Did some code cleanup and fixed coding style in PowerDebug

  • Vishwanath Sripathy
    • Attended UDS/LDS conference from Oct 25 - 29
    • Discussed and aligned on PM WG blueprints
  • Yong Shen

  • Vincent Guittot
    • Start to port debugfs on new ux500 kernel 2.6.35
    • Start to port modification on new ux500 kernel
  • Amit Daniel Kachhap
    • Added the debugfs code for clock debugging in samsung platform code.
    • Analysed the regulator and clock information with powerdebug tool.
