As part of our support of the benchmarking and validation technical topics, we have need to contribute to the glmark2 project. glmark2 is a benchmark utility that covers OpenGL and OpenGL ES; it is a great example of our subset model of OpenGL and OpenGL ES development. While members of the graphics working group have contributed work to this project in the past, it was prior to the formal existence of the group. I wanted to make sure that our current contributions, mostly in the form of bug fixes, have the blessing of the TSC, as glmark2 is licensed under the GPLv3.
