This page includes information to properly use Linaro branding in materials we create.
The Linaro "Green"
The actual shade of green used in the Linaro logo is:
CMYK: 42.12, 0, 96.31, 0
Don't try and use the "eye dropper" in something like Gimp from an existing image. It might not pick up the correct value.
Watermarking A Video
You can use this image (note image has a transparent background, but is overlayed on black here so you can read the white Linaro text):
If video dimensions are needed for cropping you can get them via ffmpeg with:
$ ffmpeg -i <video> --vstats
You can then watermark the video with ffmpeg using:
$ ffmpeg -sameq -i VIDEO.IN -vf "movie=WATERMARK.png [logo]; [in][logo] overlay=main_w-overlay_w:main_h-overlay_h [out]" OUTPUT.MPEG
The objectives of the Linaro company trademark policy are to: encourage widespread use of the Linaro trademarks by the Linaro™ community while controlling that use in order to avoid confusion on the part of Linaro users and the general public; to maintain the value of the image and reputation of the trademarks and to protect them from inappropriate or unauthorized use.
